The current solution

Most current remote solutions rely on diesel generators, which require periodical maintenance and fueling. For rural locations, the operating costs associated with fueling, maintenance, replacement and repair are recurring costs that are very volatile. These costs are expected to rise in the future, because of continuously increasing fuel prices. In addition to that, the use of diesel generators is noisy and harmful for the environment because of their polluting CO2 emissions.

Solar powered energy solutions are more environmentally friendly and have already proven their suitability. Although they still require a higher initial capital investment, the operating and maintenance costs are reduced to a minimum, making renewable energy economically feasible in most situations.

Current solar solutions also require a fair amount of hardware, including a solar inverter, battery chargers, other inverters and logging equipment. The PowerRouter is a new and unique solution that has all these requirements in an all-in-one enclosure, that will save money, time and space.
