Applications

Employ the PowerRouter for your home, small business, industrial site or remote location with product capacities from 3 to 15 kilowatts. The PowerRouter serves all of your energy needs by allowing you to manage your energy and control its distribution.

  • Grid connected installations (on-grid)

Feed-in: on-grid installations are mainly used to feed renewable energy into the grid by metering and selling the amount of kWh. These systems need to be as efficient as possible to ensure a high return on investment. Read more about the PowerRouter´s feed-in possibilities: PowerRouter Solar and PowerRouter Wind.

Feed-in with backup:
for areas that have multiple power outages, it is more sensible to use a system with battery backup functionality that can draw power from alternative energy sources to continuously supply power. Read more about the PowerRouter´s feed-in possibilities with backup: PowerRouter Solar Backup and PowerRouter Solar Wind Hybrid Backup.

  •  Independent island solutions (off-grid)

Remote locations: generate and store electricity in areas where no grid is available. Off-grid installations require reliable resources and, preferably, renewable energy sources to avoid unnecessary generator maintenance and fuel transportation.

The backup capability that the PowerRouter Solar Backup and PowerRouter Solar Wind Hybrid Backup have integrated in their system prevents interruptions, which avoids risks such as disabled / damaged appliances or loss of valuable data. Due to high costs associated with continuous management of systems in rural areas, the PowerRouter was also designed to require less on-site monitoring by remotely controlling system operations (via the web portal).
